back on track

it's good to be back - and how. it's been a while since my last post, but that's because of workload/gnar time. i've reworked my pyramid of importance. sleep, health and happiness come before all. all being school. last saturday i was at zouk shooting Ed Banger's gig, with uffie and such for Juice mag.

needless to say, it was off the hook.
looking at a more relaxed coming weekend. needed.
preparations for the exhibition in full effect.

isolation

night number two. plenty of sleeping hours logged, counterbalanced with a fragrant overdose of internet. strepsils are my partners in crime.
my eyes are looking a little less red. some colour has found its way back to my skin. but don't be surprised to see my next entry published from inside this stronghold. if the doctor is nice, however, i may get lucky.

quarantine

those predisposed to being touchy-feely types, beware. although i have been declared safe to hug, i am contagious. as it turns out, i have the flu and conjunctivitis, two very dreary and uninteresting viruses rendering the carrier inevitably bored. can't go to school, nor could i even leave the med center for lunch. and i'm sleeping here tonight, too. scrubs are mandatory.

cross bones style

there i was, sitting crosslegged on the ground in the isle, one of two spines binding all the graduates this year together. i've been in this class for 6 years, from grade 5 through grade 10. it's hard to see them go, knowing i'll still be here. but i tell them i'll take good care of the school. they tell me they'll miss it, and i tell them they can live vicariously through me if they let me do the same. somehow this compromise is good, and i'm glad i have another year here.

but i'll miss them. there will be an absence felt, a gap in a lot of the goodness.

the future

modesty is a virtue

whoever can best come. it's my first show! helene, the owner, wanted me to make a banner for it, so i obliged. i leave to vietnam a few days after the show ends, so this might be a nice prelude to the summer. depending on how it goes. actually, it will be a good experience no matter how it turns. i'm siked.
